KISHTWAR: The Labour Department Kishtwar conducted a surprise inspection to check compliance with official regulations regarding the Sunday closure day. The inspection was led by Assistant Labour Commissioner Mamta Sudershan accompanied by Labour Inspector Sunil Chandail and other officials from the department.
During the inspection, the team identified multiple violations of the Sunday closure directive and took immediate action. A total of 25 challans were issued on the spot to erring establishments found violating the mandated closure.
The Labour Department emphasized that strict enforcement of the closure day is essential to safeguard workers' rights and maintain compliance with labour laws. The department has urged business owners and commercial establishments to adhere to the guidelines, warning that non-compliance will lead to further stringent actions.
