DODA: As part of the Anti-Dengue Month (July 2026) campaign under the National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme (NVBDCP), an anti-larval drive and Information, Education and Communication (IEC) awareness campaign was conducted at the Deputy Commissioner Office, Doda, identified hotspot areas and the adjoining premises of the CMO Office, Doda.

Conducted under the supervision of District Malaria Officer Doda Ilam ud Din, the drive was carried out jointly by the malaria teams from the CMO Office Doda and Medical Block Ghat.

The teams carried out anti-larval insecticide spraying at identified mosquito breeding sites to prevent the spread of vector-borne diseases such as dengue, malaria and chikungunya. IEC activities, including poster pasting at prominent public places, were conducted to educate the public about preventive measures, source reduction and the importance of maintaining a clean environment.

The Health Department has appealed to the public to support the campaign by preventing water stagnation in and around homes and workplaces, eliminating mosquito breeding sources and adopting all recommended preventive measures.
