JAMMU: PM SHRI Government High School Boys, Kandoli Nagrota organized a series of awareness and community engagement activities including an Enrollment Awareness Programme for the academic session 2026–27, a Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting, Community Mobilization Programme, Social Media Awareness Session, and Result Declaration with Felicitation of Students.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, parents, teachers, and members of the local community. The school administration invited parents to attend the programme so that they could actively engage with teachers and understand the academic progress and future plans of their children.

On the occasion, the annual results of the students were officially declared, and meritorious students were felicitated for their academic achievements. The initiative aimed to encourage students to perform better and inspire them to continue their educational journey with dedication and confidence.

A special Social Media Awareness Session was also organized during the programme. On this occasion, journalist Amit Verma, an alumnus of the school, was invited as a guest speaker. Addressing the students, Amit Verma shared valuable insights about the responsible use of social media and its growing role in today’s digital world. He advised students to use social media platforms wisely for learning, communication, and personal development while avoiding misuse.

During his interaction, Amit Verma expressed gratitude to the school administration and teachers for inviting him to interact with the students. He also thanked Headmistress Mrs. Neelam Rani, Sh. Surinder Dogra, Incharge PM SHRI School, and the entire staff for their efforts in shaping the future of students and promoting quality education.

Several prominent members of the local community were also present on the occasion, including former Sarpanch Rameshwar Sharma, Sanjay Sharma, Vijay Sharma, and Sanjay Batra. Speaking on the occasion, former Sarpanch Rameshwar Sharma appreciated the role of the PM SHRI school in providing quality education to children of the area and said that many students from the institution have achieved success in different fields.

The programme concluded with a message encouraging parents and the community to support educational initiatives and ensure maximum enrollment of children in schools for the upcoming academic session.
