JAMMU: The 76 Battalion CRPF, in collaboration with J&K Health Department and under the guidance of IG Jammu Sector and DIG Range Jammu, hosted a free medical camp here today at Village- Raipur, Near Bantalab under Civic Action Programme. Vezoto Tinyi, Commandant-76 Bn led the camp organised to reach out to the needy people of the area to provide free health care and make them aware about their health.
In the Medical Camp, a team comprising Medical Officers Dr.Yamini Wazir (MLHP), Medical Officer (MLHP) Dr. Astha Sharma Health & F.W Jammu and Dr S. Sowmiya Medical Officer of 76 Bn conducted free medical check-up of around 315 civilians and provided free medicines.
Reeta Devi, Ex. Sarpanch inaugurated the Civic Action Programme. On this Occasion, Vezoto Tinyi, Commandant-76 Bn appealed to all people of the area to stay fit by doing physical exercises regularly and sensitized them to maintain a healthy lifestyle and hygiene. Besides, he also elaborated the role of the CRPF in maintaining cordial relationship between locals and Force. The initiative drew positive response and was received well by the locals with the urge that CRPF to organize such camps in the future also.
