KULGAM: A total of three medical shops were closed down for non-observance of conditions of licences and improper sale records maintenance at Kulgam.  In pursuance to NCORD  directives, continuous efforts are on by Drug Control Authorities in Kulgam district to achieve a robust system of sale purchase record maintenance by chemists and wholesale dealers. 

Today, around 20 medical  establishments were inspected in  Nillow Pariwan Samnoo Hariweth  avil DH Pora and  other adjoining areas where 3  shops were closed down on spot for violating conditions of licences.  An awareness cum training session was also conducted with  chemists near SDH D H Pora  to sensitize them with CBS for maintaining sale and purchase of  medicines.
