KUPWARA: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Shrikant Suse today convened a meeting of concerned officers at the DC Office Complex to review the progress and resolve the issues related to the establishment of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Kupwara.
During the meeting, the DC directed concerned Tehsildar to demarcate the land identified for the project as requested Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. He further instructed the District Education Planning Officer, Kupwara to finalize the registration formalities and submit the same within three days.
The DC also directed the nodal officer for KV Drugmulla (Principal Kendriya Vidyalaya Baramulla) to make necessary arrangements for starting the academic activities of Kendriya Vidyalaya at the temporary accommodation provided by district administration at the earliest, so that students of the district can benefit from quality education and co-curricular exposure under the Kendriya Vidyalaya framework.
DC stressed that ensuring functional Kendriya Vidyalaya at the earliest is top priority of district administration and all efforts shall be undertaken for benefit of students of kupwara.
