NOWSHERA: Sena Hindustan, led by Jammu and Kashmir President Pandit Rajesh Kesri, organized a meeting in village Kalal, Nowshera, Rajouri, to discuss the growing concern of drug menace in the region. The meeting was attended by a large number of youth, elderly, and women from the village.
Pandit Rajesh Kesri highlighted the alarming issue of heroin being smuggled into the region and its devastating impact on the youth. He emphasized that Pakistan is promoting narco-terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir as a proxy war to weaken the country.Kesri appreciated the efforts of the Jammu and Kashmir Police and administration in curbing the drug menace. He mentioned that the police have been working tirelessly to seal the houses of smugglers and arrest those involved in the trade.
Kesri urged the villagers to join hands with the authorities to combat the drug menace. He requested the villagers to provide information about any suspicious activity or person involved in the trade, assuring them that their identity would be kept confidential. Those who spoke on the occasion included Rakesh Choudhary,Gita Devi,Mahesh Choudhary, Deepak Choudhary.
The meeting resolved to work together to combat the drug menace and protect the youth from falling prey to this evil.
