UDHAMPUR: Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh today convened a meeting of officers and civil society members to review and finalise the arrangements for the upcoming Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival. The meeting was attended by PO Poshan Subash Dogra, GM DIC Kishore Singh Katoch, Chief Planning Officer Uttam Singh along with other senior officers from line departments, representatives of various religious organisations and members of civil society.
During the deliberations, representatives from the religious organisations shared their feedback and highlighted specific requirements for the smooth conduct of the festival. The ADC instructed all stakeholder departments to ensure seamless arrangements with particular emphasis on the smooth passage of the Shobha Yatra.
The CEO Municipality was directed to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the city. The Executive Engineers JPDCL and Jal Shakti Department were asked to ensure uninterrupted power and water supply throughout the celebrations. ADC further directed all concerned departments to complete the necessary arrangements well in advance to ensure the successful and smooth conduct of the festival.
