The Survival Fight of JK Monitor: For 16 years, JK Monitor has chronicled Jammu and Kashmir with integrity. Since 2010, I have steered its newsroom alongside our visionary Founding Chairman, Dr. Priya Ranjan (IIT Kharagpur alumnus, University of Maryland Ph.D.). His tragic demise in October 2026 left a severe financial and operational vacuum. Without urgent support, our 24/7 news portal risks permanently shutting down after November 2026, remaining only as a static digital archive. JAMMU: Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir organized Ekta Padyatras across the entire Union Territory as a part of the nationwide commemoration of the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.

These marches aim to take Sardar Patel’s message of unity, integrity, and national cohesion to every corner of society, reinforcing the spirit of patriotism and collective responsibility. The BJP is committed to ensuring that the legacy of Patel’s monumental role in unifying India reaches people at the grassroots, in line with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

These padyatras reflect our commitment to strengthening the bond of national unity across the country, he added.
