KISHTWAR: Senior Congress Leader and Former Minister, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori, today visited several areas of Chatroo Block and held detailed interactions with local residents to assess their concerns and ongoing issues.
During the visit, people voiced serious grievances regarding the steep increase in electricity bills, unscheduled power cuts, difficulties in updation of ration cards from APL to BPL, rising unemployment, issues related to MGNREGA, and other basic civic challenges. Mr. Saroori further highlighted that during his tenure, significant developmental works were undertaken in Chatroo, leading to visible improvements in infrastructure and public services. He assured that with renewed public support, such developmental momentum can be restored and further accelerated in the interest of the people.
