JAMMU: A 2-Day Multi-Media Exhibition on Bhartiya Nyaya Samhita-2023(BNS-23), Mission LiFE, Swachh Bharat Mission, Poshan Abhiyan and other centrally sponsored schemes was organized by Central Bureau of Communication Rajouri, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. The programme was organized at Govt. Degree College Nowshera, of District Rajouri in the presence of Shamim Ahmed Azad, Principal GDC Nowshera, Ghulam Abbas Director CBC J&K and Ladakh, Faculty of GDC Nowshera, GGHSS Nowshera, Officers and officials of ICDS, Animal Husbandry, CBC Rajouri & CBC Poonch.
Shamim Ah. Azad, Chief Guest in his address said that such kind of awareness programmes on the schemes and programs of Government of India should be organized on regular intervals so that the general public especially in the far-flung boarder areas like Nowshera come to know about the benefits of these schemes. He urged the audience to learn more & more about scheme related to higher Education, agriculture, animal husbandry & sheep husbandry to achieve the target of Viksit Bharat.
Ghulam Abbas, Director, Central Bureau of Communication, J&K in his address said, the government is working towards the upliftment of the poor in the country through its various centrally sponsored schemes and programs and the pro-poor schemes like PM Awas Yojna, PM Jan Arogya Yojna, Ujwwala Yojna, PM Grib Kalyan Ann Yojna, Shishu Janani Surakha Yojna, Poshan Abhiyan, Jan Aushadhi Kendras, Khelo India, Kissan Samman Nidhi, DBT, , Saubhagya Yojna, Har Ghar Jal, SBM, KCC, Stand up India, Start up India, Kaushal Vikas, Mudra Loans, and other Centrally Sposored Schemes of the government have brought a revolution in the country.
Resources persons from ICDS Nowshera Asha Devi, Dr. Ajay Soodan from Animal Husbandry and Dr. Ruhi Gupta from GDC spoke about various Centrally Sponsored schemes related to their respective departments. The programme was conducted by Rumani Gupta Asst. Prof. In English GDC Nowshera. Students Shagun Sharma spoke on SBM and Nancy Sharma enlightened about Bhartiya Nayaya Samhita (BNS).
On the day before, a drawing competition was organized at GGHSS Nowshera, in which 25 students participated. Open quiz was also organized during the programme to engage the audience. Theme based cultural items were presented by artists of Registered Troupe of CBC J&K. All the guests and participants along with winners were honoured suitably by CBC Poonch.
