BARAMULLA: In observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2024, Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Jammu and Kashmir, in collaboration with the Transport Department organized an insightful session to instill the principles of transparency and accountability. The programme witnessed huge participation from District Baramulla. The session was hosted virtually from Srinagar, with active participation from all districts across the Union Territory.
From Baramulla, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Baramulla, Zahoor Ahmad Raina, Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO), Muazzam Ali, alongside key officials from ACB and the transport Department attended the event in a virtual mode from Dak Bunglow here. The event also witnessed participation of a large number of officers, officials, health workers, drivers, and other attendees who joined the session to reinforce their commitment to ethical practices in governance and administration.
The session emphasized the theme of Vigilance Awareness Week 2024: ‘Culture of Integrity for Nation's Prosperity’ with speakers highlighting the need for public officials to uphold integrity and remain vigilant against corrupt practices, underlining the importance of a proactive approach in combating corruption. The event also sought to educate participants on the mechanisms for reporting unethical practices and the critical role of every individual in building a corruption-free society.
