SRINAGAR: In continuation to its efforts aimed at capacity building of Forest Services aspirants, a one day workshop titled ‘Strategies and Approaches for Qualifying Indian Forest Examination’ was today held at the North Forest Headquarters at Mazbugh Sopore. The training cum workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from forest services aspirants from Baramulla, Kupwara, Ganderbal and Budgam districts.
Conservator of Forests (CoF), Kashmir North Circle, Irfan Ali Shah in his address spoke at length about the immense potential of local youth and the significance of increasing awareness about the Indian Forest Service. CoF encouraged aspirants to pursue careers in the green sector with passion, commitment, and integrity. He underscored the department’s need for young, dynamic officers for ensuring good governance and a sustainable future. Civil society and local residents expressed optimism that the Department would continue organizing such initiatives in the future as well.
