- DIG, DC inspect centres, oversee smooth conduct of exams
SHOPIAN: The examinations for the recruitment of Constable posts by J&K Services Selection Board (JKSSB) was today held across Shopian district, recording 92 percent attendance of aspirants. The exam was held at 15 centres of the district with proper arrangements made by District Administration Shopian for around 4200 aspirants.
To oversee the smooth conduct of examination in the district, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG), South Range, Javid Iqbal Matoo and Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar along with senior officials inspected the examination centers. During the inspections, DIG and DC reviewed overall arrangements, ensuring adherence to protocols and guidelines.
The District Administration had made elaborate arrangements of manpower and magisterial deployment, security, videography, transport and other logistical arrangements for the hassle and seamless conduct of examination. ADC, Dr.Zakir Hussain Faaz and Additional SP, CEO Shopian and other officers and officials accompanied the dignitaries during the visit.
