BANDIPORA: In a significant healthcare initiative, Smile Train India, in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Bandipora, is organizing a free awareness and screening camp for individuals suffering from cleft lip, cleft palate, nasal, facial, and cranial deformities. The camp will be held on February 27, 2025, at District Hospital Bandipora, with the goal of identifying and assisting patients in need of corrective surgery and medical intervention.
Patients are urged to register for the camp before February 26, 2025, by contacting 7889440542 or 6005879092. This initiative is part of Smile Train Indiaâs ongoing efforts to provide free surgical care and rehabilitation to children and adults affected by cleft-related conditions. Cleft lip and palate are among the most common birth defects which if left untreated lead to difficulties in speech, eating, breathing, and overall facial development. The Khyber Medical Institute, Nowpora Srinagar, will be an integral part of this initiative, providing medical expertise and post-operative care.
