GANDERBAL: As a part of the "Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyaan" initiative, under Civic Action Programme (CAP), Range Police Hqrs Srinagar conducted Debate Competition on drug abuse in Collaboration with Central University Kashmir, at Tulumulla Campus.
The programme was attended by Vice Chancellor CUK Shri A Ravinder Nath and SSP Ganderbal Shri Ragav S-IPS. Other senior Police officers of the district, Professors, teachers, students and other participants participated with zeal and zest.
In the event, SSP Ganderbal emphasized the need to protect the young generation from the menace of drug abuse, highlighting its devastating impact on individuals and society. He also stressed the importance of youths staying drug free and propagating the ill effects of drugs to the society thereby ensuring a Nasha Mukht Bharat.
A debate competition was held wherein the participants shared their perspectives, views, assumptions and exploring concrete solutions to the complex, challenging and pressing issue of drug abuse that threatens the very fabric of our society.
This initiative demonstrates J&K Police's commitment to eradicating drug abuse and promoting a safer, healthier community. At the end, the participants thanked J&K Police for conducting such awareness programmes, thus building a bridge of trust between police and the youth.
