SOPORE: Police in Sopore have arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest since 2012. Police in Sopore have arrested an absconder, namely Nayeem Ahmad War son of Nazir Ahmad War resident of Warpora Sopore, who had been evading arrest for over 12 years. He was wanted in connection with a case FIR No. 190 filed in 2012 under sections 454 and 380 of the RPC at Police Station Sopore. A warrant of arrest had been issued by the Hon'ble Court Sopore against him.
He has been produced before the Hon'ble Court and has been lodged in judicial custody until February 25, 2025.
