BANDIPORA: As part of the ongoing awareness campaign under the National Campaign against Drug Abuse (NCL), Police in Bandipora today organised a quiz competition and various interactive educational activities at schools and police establishments in the district.
Students from local schools actively participated in the events held at Sumbal, Hajin, Aloosa, Ajas and Nowgam Sumbal, where they were given insight into the functioning of the police department. The quiz competition focused on spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drugs and the role of law enforcement in combating drug abuse. Winners were awarded trophies and certificates of appreciation.
The initiative also included role-playing activities, traffic management demonstrations and guided tours of police facilities, all aimed at bridging the gap between youth and law enforcement. J&K Police reaffirm their commitment to fostering strong police-community relations and promoting a drug-free society through continued educational outreach.
