BANDIPORA: A three months free skill development course in ‘Junior Software Developer’ was on Tuesday inaugurated at Govt. ITI Bandipora. An official of the District Employment and Counseling Centre Bandipora informed that the free training course being organized by DE&CC Bandipora, aims to bridge skill gaps, promote entrepreneurship, and empower educated unemployed youth with industry-relevant skills.
During the course, participants will receive comprehensive training aligned with NSQF guidelines and a monthly stipend of Rs.1,000 contingent on maintaining at least 90% attendance. It is important to mention that after following the due procedure, 25 candidates have been selected to undergo the training course, while 10 more candidates are in the waiting list.
Speaking on the occasion, the Assistant Director Employment Rabia Iqbal emphasized the importance of skill enhancement in IT-related domains and highlighted the growing employment opportunities in the sector. She encouraged participants to make the most of this program and prepare for a competitive job market. Among others the inaugural function was attended by Career Counseling Officer DECC, Employment Officer DECC, officials of DE&CC and ITI, students and others concerned.
