RAMBAN: A one-day capacity building training programme under Mission YUVA was organized today at Government Polytechnic College (GPC). The training programme was hosted by the District Employment and Counselling Centre (DE&CC) bringing together 60 participants from the Skill Development Department and the Labour and Employment Department.
In his inaugural address, the HoD Electronics, GPC Ramban extended a warm welcome to the participants and highlighted the importance of Mission YUVA as a pioneering initiative in Jammu and Kashmir. He urged attendees to actively engage in the sessions and utilize the opportunity.
The programme featured expert sessions delivered by resource persons viz Assistant Director Employment Department Ramban, YP DE&CC/MCC Ramban, NABARD, and DNO, JKEDI Ramban. Each session provided a detailed overview of Mission YUVA's objectives and its emphasis on promoting entrepreneurship, and self-reliance among the youth.
Participants expressed great enthusiasm during the interactive sessions, seeking clarity on various aspects of the mission and its implementation. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Assistant Director Employment, underscoring the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders in making the programme a success.
