GANDERBAL: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Gulzar Ahmad, today flagged off an exposure visit for Children with Special Needs (CWSN) from the Mini Secretariat Ganderbal. The program was organized by the Chief Education Officer Ganderbal under the Inclusive Education initiative.
Themed "Exposure Visit for Children with Special Needs," the initiative aims to provide students with enriching learning experiences beyond the classroom, promoting experiential learning, social integration, and confidence-building among CWSN. Students from various schools across the Ganderbal district, accompanied by Resource Persons, Special Educator Teachers, and parent escorts, participated in the visit.
The program includes trips to key educational, cultural, and recreational sites such as the SPS Museum and Iqbal Library at Kashmir University, enabling students to engage with their environment in a meaningful way. The exposure visit reflects the district's commitment to fostering inclusive education and creating opportunities that empower children with special needs.
