JAMMU: The Literary Club, University of Jammu successfully organized “Fact Frenzy: Quiz Competition” today at the University’s Open-Air-Theatre (Amphitheatre). The event brought together enthusiastic participants and a lively audience to celebrate knowledge and awareness in honour of Constitution Day, National Education Day, and National Integration Day.
At the outset of the event, Prof. Sadaf Shah, Coordinator, Literary Club, University of Jammu, extended a warm welcome to Prof. Prakash C. Antahal, Convenor, Utsaah and Dean Students Welfare, University of Jammu, who graciously served as the chief guest for the event. She also welcomed the participants and the audience. The competition featured three challenging rounds of questions that tested the participants’ understanding of these significant themes.
It was an engaging intellectual challenge for the contestants and an enlightening experience for the spectators. The quiz was conducted with great energy and zeal, anchored by Dilpreet Kour and Sarnish Kour, with Divya Verma and Bhoomi Samnotra serving as the quizmasters.
Three competitive teams participated in the event, with each team comprising ten students from different departments of the University of Jammu. After a thrilling and closely contested competition, Team C emerged as the winner. The team members Vidhita Arora, Paridhi Mahajan, Neamat Kour, Suhani Behl, Sumeet Sharma, Radhey Sharma, Arnav Sharma, Nikhil Dogra, Armaan Khan, and Mohd. Shahid impressed everyone with their exceptional knowledge, coordination, and teamwork.
While concluding the event, Prof. Prakash C. Antahal, Convenor, Utsaah, University of Jammu, commended the efforts of the Literary Club, University of Jammu, and its coordinator, Prof. Sadaf Shah, for their meticulous planning and dedication in organizing the event. He also appreciated the active participation of students, which made the event a success. This was followed by the presentation of certificates and awards to the victorious team by Prof. Sadaf Shah, Coordinator, Literary Club, University of Jammu.
