UDHAMPUR: The 3rd National Lok Adalat for the year 2025 was today held here under the Chairmanship and Supervision of Virinder Singh Bhou, Chairman DLSA/ Pr. District & Sessions Judge, Udhampur and Dr. Smriti Sharma, Secretary DLSA Udhampur for the settlement of cases. In all 11 Benches were constituted in the District.
The Bench No. 1 was presided over by Pr. District & Sessions Judge Virinder Singh Bhou and assisted by Adv. Rajesh Gupta. The Bench No. 2 comprised of Chief Judicial Magistrate Rekha Kapoor, and Sub Judge/Special Mobile Magistrate Pooja Raina, The Bench No. 3 comprised of District Mobile Magistrate (T) Rishabh Koushal and Panel Lawyer Advocate Nikhileshwar Singh.
The Bench no. 4 comprised of Munisff/JMIC Urvashi Raina, and Additional Special Mobile Magistrate Akashdeep. The Bench No. 05 comprised of Chairman TLSC Majalta Suhasini Vasisatha, while Bench No. 06 comprised of Chairman TLSC Chenani Ravinder Singh. The Bench No. 07 comprised of Chairman TLSC Ramnagar Shabnam Sheikh and Bench no. 08 comprised of Tehsildar Udhampur Jai Singh and Panel Lawyer Advocate Akhil Khajuria.
The Bench No. 09 comprised of Tehsildar Ramnagar Satish Kumar, the Bench No. 10 comprised of Tehsildar Majalta Kamini Choudhary and Bench No. 11 comprised of Tehsildar Chenani Pankaj Singh. A total number of 1442 cases of different nature were taken up, out of which 922 cases were settled. A total Amount settled stood at Rs. 30470125.
