JAMMU: Sunil Dimple, President of Mission Statehood, today led a strong anti-Pakistan protest rally at Rehari Chungi, condemning the killing of two Army jawans in Kulgam and the fresh encounters with terrorists underway in Kishtwar and Kulgam. Protesters burnt Pakistani flags and effigies, raising slogans against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.
Speaking to the media, Dimple alleged that after âOperation Sindoor,â two brave Army jawans were martyred and several others injured during a gun battle in Kulgam today. He claimed that a fresh encounter with terrorists had also begun in Kishtwar, where police conducted raids at 26 houses and recovered a large cache of ammunition.
Dimple demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi restore Jammu and Kashmirâs statehood so that an elected government can take direct control of counter-terrorism operations. He urged the PM to pass a resolution in Parliament to launch âOperation Sindoor,â carry out surgical strikes, and wage a decisive war against Pakistan to liberate Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), Gilgit, and Baltistan from what he called âillegal occupation.â
He further appealed to the Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Nalin Prabhat, to intensify anti-terrorist search operations in both Kashmir and the Jammu region, including Samba, Kathua, Poonch, and Rajouri, where, he alleged, daily infiltration attempts occur and heavy ammunition has been recovered.
Senior Mission Statehood leaders Narender Chowdhary, Sanjay Kumar, Sanjeev, Baba Gupta, Parveen Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Happy Kumar, Sunny Kumar, Rocky Kapoor, S. Ricky Singh, and others also participated in the protest.
