RAMBAN: The SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Ramban, in collaboration with the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) – Umeed, inaugurated the Soft Toys Maker and Seller Training Program today at Seri, Ramban.
In line with the priorities of Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, this initiative aims to empower women by equipping them with skills to manufacture and market soft toys, opening new avenues for self-employment. Branch Manager, State Bank of India, Ramban, Sachin Kumar Mahajan was the Chief Guest for the event.
Addressing the trainees, Sachin Kumar Mahajan highlighted various government schemes and special initiatives aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs. He encouraged participants to take full advantage of the training and utilize available financial support mechanisms to establish their own ventures. Director SBI RSETI, provided insights into RSETI’s role in promoting self-employment and entrepreneurship. He apprised the Chief Guest and trainees of the various skill development programs conducted by RSETI for the benefit of rural youth, particularly women.
