DODA: In a significant step towards enhancing healthcare accessibility, the Block Medical Officer (BMO) Bhaderwah, Dr. Mohd Ashraf Kuchay, under the direction of CMO Doda, Dr. Om Kumar, organized a free multi-specialty mega health camp at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School, Bhaderwah.
The initiative was part of the ongoing Swachhata Pakhwada campaign, aimed at providing complimentary medical services to students under the School Health Programme, ensuring quality healthcare is accessible to all. The camp offered a wide range of specialized medical services, with consultations from experts across various fields.
Over 300 students and school staff members were examined by a dedicated health team, which included Dr. Subash Sharma (Surgeon Specialist), Dr. Priya Manhas (ENT Specialist), Dr. Touseef Shoket (Dental Surgeon), Dr. Saima (MO AYUSH), Dr. Sheenam (MO RBSK), and paramedical staff. Their collective efforts were instrumental in the camp's success.
Dr. Mohd Ashraf highlighted the importance of such health camps in improving the overall health and well-being of the community. In addition to medical consultations, the health team also provided free medicines and imparted valuable awareness about health and hygiene to the students.
