NOWSHERA: The Sub District Hospital (SDH) in Nowshera proudly announces a significant achievement in maternal healthcare services with the successful completion of six Cesarean sections in a single day. This remarkable milestone reflects the hospital's unwavering commitment to providing high-quality care to the community.
The procedures were conducted under the expert guidance of Director Health Services Jammu, Dr. Rakesh Magotra, and Chief Medical Officer Rajouri Dr. Manohar Lal Rana, and were supervised by Block Medical Officer, Dr. Iqbal Malik from Nowshera. This coordinated effort highlights the dedication of the healthcare professionals at SDH Nowshera to advancing maternal health services in the region.
The Cesarean sections were performed by a dedicated team of medical professionals, including Dr. Baba Singh (Gynaecologist), Dr. Wasim Chouhan (Anaesthetist), Pankaj Sharma (OT Technician), Koushal Sharma (OT Technician), Mohd Sadaq, Khampo Bala (FMPHW), and Sachin Bakshi (MTS). Sub District Hospital, Nowshera serves a population of approximately 125,000, including many residents of border villages near the Line of Control (LOC).
