POONCH: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting to discuss the implementation of PM Gati Shakti at the district level and the formulation of the Master Plan for the District. The meeting focused on using the PM Gati Shakti portal for all future planning activities in the district, which is expected to bring about more efficient, transparent, and coordinated development.
The DC emphasized that all future planning in the District will be carried out using the PM Gati Shakti portal. He stressed that this approach will not only streamline the planning and execution of projects but will also have a far-reaching impact on the overall development of the district, ensuring transparency, effectiveness, and better coordination among stakeholder departments.
The use of the portal will contribute to the implementation of development projects in a seamless and accountable manner, ultimately benefitting the citizens of Poonch. Experts connected via Bharat VC provided a comprehensive demonstration of the PM Gati Shakti portal's features and functionalities. The demo showcased how the portal aids in real-time monitoring, effective project execution and enhances inter-departmental coordination facilitating speedy planning and implementation of projects.
The meeting was attended by GM DIC Poonch, ACR Poonch, ACP, CMO Poonch, DFO Poonch, DIO NIC Poonch, ARTO Poonch, CEO MC, Xen PWD(R&B) besides other concerned officers.
