SHOPIAN: The District Sheep Husbandry Office (DSHO), Shopian today organized a distribution event at the District Sheep Husbandry Complex in Shirmal Shopian. The event focused on the distribution of single-fly tents and solar lanterns under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY) to support and uplift the progressive chopans of the district by providing essential resources.
During the event, free solar lanterns and tents were distributed to the beneficiaries, enhancing their capacity to manage livestock more efficiently. Dr. Tariq Ahmad Malik, District Sheep Husbandry Officer Shopian; Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Khanday, Sheep and Wool Development Officer Shopian; Dr. Maqsood Ahmad Rather, Technical Officer District Sheep Husbandry Office Shopian and other officials from the Sheep Husbandry Department Shopian were present at the event.
