• AISECT launches ‘Kaushal Rath’ to Drive AI Literacy Mission across Madhya Pradesh

BHOPAL, MADHYA PRADESH: Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav, formally launched Kaushal Rath, a mobile AI learning initiative under AISECT’s AI Literacy Mission, at the Madhya Pradesh Regional AI Impact Conference 2026, held at Taj Lakefront, Bhopal. The conference, themed “Redefining AI-enabled Governance for an empowered Bharat,” marked a significant step towards democratizing Artificial Intelligence education and awareness across the state. The initiative aims to build large-scale AI literacy among students, educators, and government stakeholders, with a special focus on rural, semi-urban, and aspirational districts of Madhya Pradesh.

The launch of Kaushal Rath took place in the presence of Mr Anurag Jain - Chief Secretary, Govt of MP, Mr Sanjay Dubey - Additional Chief Secretary, Dept of Science and Technology, Mr Ashish Vashishtha - MD, MPSEDC, Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Executive Vice President, AISECT; Dr. Vijay Singh, Vice Chancellor, SCOPE Global Skills University (SGSU); Mr. Sitesh Sinha, Registrar, SGSU; and Mr. Abhishek Gupta, General Manager, AISECT, marking a strong institutional commitment towards advancing AI literacy and future skills across the state.

Kaushal Rath is a specially designed mobile computer lab equipped with laptops, internet connectivity, audio-visual teaching aids, and curated AI learning modules. The mobile unit will travel district-wise to conduct structured AI literacy programmes at government ITIs, government colleges, and PM SHRI and CM SHRI government schools, ensuring last-mile access to AI education and digital awareness.

The initiative seeks to demystify AI concepts, promote ethical and responsible use of technology, and orient students towards AI-enabled career pathways. In addition to student engagement, the programme focuses on building AI readiness among educators and sensitising government officials on the role of AI in governance, service delivery, and public systems.

As part of its broader AI ecosystem-building efforts, AISECT also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (MPSEDC). The MoU aims to jointly promote AI awareness and digital capacity building across the state through Kaushal Rath and AISECT Learn courses, creating scalable and structured AI learning opportunities for youth and institutions.

This initiative aligns with national efforts under IndiaAI, supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), including the launch of “Yuva AI for ALL”, a programme aimed at building a basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence among students and youth across the country. Through convergence with such national missions, AISECT’s AI Literacy Mission seeks to ensure inclusive and responsible AI adoption at the grassroots level.

In its first phase, Kaushal Rath will cover 11 districts of Madhya Pradesh, with an estimated outreach of over 22,000 students, 1,100 educators, and 220 government employees. Each district engagement will be formally inaugurated by the District Collector, ensuring administrative ownership and effective convergence with education and skill development departments.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Executive Vice President, AISECT, said“Artificial Intelligence must not remain limited to policy rooms or urban classrooms. With the AI Literacy Mission and Kaushal Rath, our vision is to take AI awareness to the last mile—empowering students, educators, and public institutions with the understanding needed to participate meaningfully in an AI-driven future. True digital empowerment begins when technology becomes accessible, ethical, and inclusive for all.”

By launching Kaushal Rath at the Madhya Pradesh Regional AI Impact Conference 2026, AISECT reinforces its commitment to translating AI vision into on-ground action. The initiative represents a people-centric approach to building an AI-ready ecosystem, ensuring that the benefits of artificial intelligence reach communities at the grassroots and contribute to an empowered, inclusive, and future-ready Bharat.
