ADC Rajouri chairs SDRF Relief Committee meeting

RAJOURI: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, a meeting of the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) Relief Committee was today convened under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Chander Prakash, to review and streamline the relief measures in rain-affected areas of the district.

At the outset, the ADC emphasized the importance of providing immediate ex-gratia relief to families affected by damage to houses, crops, and other property. He directed the concerned officers to conduct timely assessments of damages and ensure the disbursement of assistance to the eligible beneficiaries without any delay.

Several relief cases were taken up for detailed discussion, and necessary instructions were issued to expedite the processing of pending cases. The ADC stressed that all concerned departments must work in close coordination to mitigate hardships faced by the affected families. The meeting was attended by Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Dr. Khalid Hussain; Tehsildars and Accounts Officer DC Office, Amin Malik.
