RAMGARH: Jammu & Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a major plantation drive at Treli in Rajpura, Ramgarh Constituency taking the message of clean and green Earth to different regions of Jammu & Kashmir.
J&K BJP President Sat Sharma (CA), along with MLA Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, planted 75 saplings of fruits, flowers and medicine plants to mark the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and laid the foundation for a Green Diversity Park in the area.
The initiative was carried out under the BJP’s Clean and Green Earth campaign, aligning with the Prime Minister’s vision of creating sustainable, eco-friendly surroundings for future generations. J&K BJP Vice-President Rashpaul Verma, District President Asha Rani, District Seh-Prabhari Manmohan Singh, and several senior party leaders and activists were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma emphasized the significance of such initiatives in the overall development model of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that planting trees is not just an environmental act, but a moral responsibility towards future generations. He said that under the leadership of PM Modi, India has not only scaled new heights in infrastructure, economy, and global standing but has also stressed deeply on harmony with nature. This Green Diversity Park will stand as a symbol of our collective resolve to protect the environment and contribute towards a cleaner, greener India, he said.
Rashpaul Verma, speaking on the occasion, stressed on the social causes undertaken by the BJP on the call of PM Modi and said that the core ideological principles of BJP which include Integral Humanism teach us how to see the human and the environment with a broader perspective.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, on the occasion, highlighted the importance of the initiative, stating that this plantation drive is a humble step towards ensuring a pollution-free and healthy environment for our people. He said that every sapling planted today will grow into a source of life and clean air, benefiting the coming generations. He also called for the enthusiastic participation from the local people and party workers to safeguard the planted saplings and extend the green campaign in their respective areas.
