DODA: To set ball rolling for promotion of winter tourism, District Development Council (DDC) Chairman Dhananter Singh Kotwal and Deputy Commissioner (DC) Harvinder Singh today discussed the preparations for the Winter Festival proposed to be held in Bhaderwah Valley here at a crucial meeting attended by representatives from the Hotel Association, Tourism Associations and other stakeholders.
The discussions centered on a range of activities and events that will be held during the festival to attract tourists. Additionally, attention was given to improving infrastructure, ensuring the safety of visitors, and making the festival a memorable experience for the visitors.
The DDC Chairman and the DC Doda expressed their commitment to making the Winter Festival a grand success, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among government authorities, local businesses and tourism bodies to create a thriving tourism ecosystem in Doda.
