KULGAM: A District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) meeting was held today at mini-secretariat Kulgam under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan, who is also the Chairman DLTFC.

A total of 93 cases were placed before the committee and 61 cases were approved by the committee for Project cost of Rs 4.50 crore involving margin money of 1.57 crore and providing employment opportunities to 366 educated unemployed youth.

JKREGP scheme is being implemented by Jammu & Kashmir Khadi and Village Industries Board (J&K KVIB) to harness and divert the potential and enthusiasm of youth for establishment of productive enterprise in the micro industrial sector and to create employment opportunities for others.

The bank representatives were directed by the chair to take the credit decision within 28 days from the receipt of DLTFC recommended applications from the KVIB Kulgam, also no security will be insisted upon by the bank up to Rs 10 lacs except in agriculture & allied, security will be insisted by the bank beyond the project cost of Rs. 5 lacs.
