JAMMU: Starting on the 20th of September, a four-day plantation activity organized by the Arboriculture and Landscaping Unit of the University of Jammu culminated today.

More than eight hundred saplings of diverse ornamental and fruit plants of Molsari, China palm, Excoecaria, Terminalia, Hamelia, Murraya, Hibiscus, Loropetalum, Traveller’s palm, Parijat, Kinnow, Mosambi, Lime, Star fruit, etc. were planted in lawns near the National Flag located at the University of Jammu and residential area of the University.

Professor Piyush Malaviya, Convener, Arboriculture and Landscaping Committee, Professor Parmil Kumar, Member, Mr. Ajmer Singh, Landscape Development Officer, and the staff members of Arboriculture and Landscaping Unit enthusiastically participated in the plantation activity.
