RAJOURI: Jammu and Kashmir Bank in collaboration with district administration Rajouri today organized the Udyami Yuva here at Dak Bungalow, with a focus on empowering aspiring entrepreneurs under the Mission Yuva initiative.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Chander Prakash was the chief guest. He commended J&K Bank for its efforts in processing approved cases under Mission Yuva and encouraged the youth to utilize the opportunity to emerge as budding entrepreneurs and create employment opportunities for others. Emphasizing the importance of financial discipline, he urged beneficiaries to avoid defaults and strictly adhere to scheme guidelines.

Deputy Director Employment, Mohammad Nawaz also addressed the gathering and briefed participants about the benefits of Mission Yuva scheme. He highlighted the importance of utilizing the Mission Yuva app to access services and maximize the scheme benefits.

An interactive session with beneficiaries was also held, where participants appreciated the paperless nature of the scheme and the support received in preparing Detailed Project Reports (DPRs). They expressed gratitude for not having to run from office to office while applying for loans under Mission Yuva.

On the occasion, 30 loan sanction letters were handed over to beneficiaries, marking a significant milestone in supporting youth-led entrepreneurship in the district. Prominent attendees included General Manager J&K Bank Mohammad Muzaffar Wani; Zonal Head Rajeev Kumar Digra; Cluster Head Deepak Sharma; Lead District Manager (LDM) Ravinder Singh and heads of different branches operating across Rajouri district.
