PULWAMA: J&K Police conducted another session of the awareness programme on Disaster Preparedness and Effective Response at District Police Lines Pulwama, aimed at strengthening readiness and improving response mechanisms during emergencies.
The participants were encouraged to stay prepared and capable of responding effectively during crisis situations. During the session, senior police officers briefed the attendees on the importance of timely preparedness, coordinated action, and maintaining readiness during disaster-related incidents. Subject experts also delivered focused presentations on risk assessment, early warning systems, first response protocols, and evacuation procedures, thereby strengthening the participants’ practical understanding.
J&K Police reaffirmed that such awareness programmes will continue to be organised to enhance preparedness and improve disaster response mechanisms across the district.
