PULWAMA: J&K Police organised an awareness programme on Disaster Preparedness and Effective Response at District Police Lines (DPL) Pulwama. The initiative aimed to strengthen preparedness, enhance response capabilities, and equip participants with essential knowledge to handle emergency situations effectively.
During the programme, DySP DAR Pulwama, accompanied by other senior police officers, briefed the participants about the objectives and importance of disaster preparedness. Subject experts separately conducted focused sessions on risk assessment, early warning systems, first response protocols, evacuation procedures, and the need for coordinated action during emergencies. The combined guidance from officers and experts further enhanced the participantsâ practical understanding and overall readiness for disaster situations.
