SRINAGAR: In continuation of its efforts to promote community welfare and cleanliness under the ongoing Seva Pakhwada celebrations, J&K Police organized a series of cleanliness drives at Haji Behram Private School Unisoo, Local Wahipora, and Zachaldara Main Chowk.
The drives were carried out with active participation of police personnel, students, school management, local shopkeepers, respectable citizens, and community members. The initiative aimed to spread awareness about the importance of personal and environmental hygiene and to encourage collective responsibility in maintaining public spaces.
At Haji Behram Private School Unisoo, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation of students, who along with J&K Police officers, cleaned the premises and nearby surroundings. Similarly, at Local Wahipora and Zachaldara Main Chowk, community members and shopkeepers joined hands with police personnel to clean roadsides, market areas, and public spaces.
On the occasion, J&K Police emphasized that such drives are not only about physical cleanliness but also about building a sense of discipline, civic responsibility, and social service among the community.
