KATRA: NSS volunteers of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra organized a cleanliness drive in Sirah village l. The main motive of the drive was to collect single use plastic waste in the village and to aware villagers about the importance of cleanliness. During the drive around 2 km distance was covered.

Around 50 NSS volunteers actively participated in the said event and collected around 70 Kg of single use plastic waste. Volunteers also organized an awareness rally for the same from University to village area. NSS volunteers Parvallika, Avinash and Ambuj coordinated the whole event. NSS coordinator Dr. Rajiv Kumar were also present during the event.
