JAMMU: Sarveshwar Smiles Foundation celebrate “World Soil health Day” today in two different villages namely Kotli Charkan and chak Alawal where large number of farmers including farm women took  oath and participate in the ceremony.

On this occasion, senior officer Sarveshwar Smiles Foundation Ashok Gupta gave concept and importance of “World Soil Health Day” to the participants. He gave suggestion to all the participants before saving and after harvesting of any major cereal corps soil testing should be given top priority  which is need of hour and maintain Soil Health Card. For this Soil testing laboratories has been established at the district level.

During interaction with the farmers and farm women, he brief them that every year on 5th of December “World Soil Health Day” celebrate with great enthusiasm. He further gave technology to participants about Integrates Nutrient Management. Prominent farmers Shamsher Singh, Swarn Singh and farm women Neelam Choudhary appreciate the programme. Field Officer Sohit Charak and Koushal Sharma remain present in the programme.
