SRINAGAR: As a part of Swachhata Pakhwada, cleanliness was today conducted at GDC Khansahib. On the occasion, Principal of the college, Dr. Nargis Bano addressed the volunteers and exhorted them to participate vehemently in the cleanliness drives & contribute in maintaining surroundings neat and clean.
Meanwhile, under the supervision of NSS Programme Officer Dr. Sajad Padder a total of 60 volunteers enthusiastically took part in the drive involving 190 hrs of work. During the drive, around 32 KGs of waste were collected & disposed-off in an eco-friendly manner. Earlier, the NSS volunteers were administered Swachhta Pledge by the NSS PO.
