JAMMU: Senior BJP leader & All Morcha Incharge BJPJammu and Kashmir, Shri Munish Sharma has welcomed the Union Budget 2025, calling it a big gift to middle-class people dedicated to women, youth, poor and farmers and 140 crores countrymen. It’s a “people-oriented” primarily caters to the lower income group aimed at ensuring the welfare of people from all sections of the society, down to the last individual where opportunity meets innovation at the last mile.
In his statement following budget, Mr Sharma described the budget as people friendly that will prove to be a milestone in promoting innovation, growth, sustainability and confidence of the people towards viksit bharat. The focus on tax relief, healthcare, education, and digital initiatives shows the govt efforts to address the needs of the middle class and broader population. This budget is govt commitment to fulfilling the hopes and aspirations of the Common people.
Furthermore, Munish Sharma continued that the budget’s sustained focus on capex spend & more money in the hands of the middle income group, as every sector of economy including manufacturing, MSME’s Agri, start-ups, tourism, skilling, training in AI has been thought of and provided sort of support for growth and transformation. It will help to set us off well towards a self reliant and globally competitive Viksit Bharat. Over all the entire budget 2025-26 is a visionary and inclusive budget that caters to the needs of various sections of society, he said.
The BJP leader also appreciated the announcement of huge budgetary allocation of worth Rs 41000.07 crores for Jammu and Kashmir union territory, Meanwhile, the GoI has also allocated Rs 9325 crore for the Jammu & Kashmir Police, Jammu and Kashmir is entering a new era of growth and progress which is under the administrative control of the Union Home Ministry, in the Union Budget for 2025-26.
Munish Sharma expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi for guiding the union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to present a people-centric, development oriented budget and said that during all these years of BJP Govt under Modi, the nation has always been given pro-development, pro-poor budget achieving what decades of politics couldn’t do and the implementation of various welfare schemes in all the sections of society paves the way for Viksit Bharat.
