The programme, presided over by Project Manager IWMP, Dr. Ashwani Hansa, witnessed active participation from stakeholder departments and community representatives. The event aimed to increase public awareness and encourage community-driven initiatives to protect natural resources, a key objective of Watershed Mahotsav-2025.

The Watershed Mahotsav-2025 has emerged as an effective platform to engage the community and raise awareness about the importance of watershed management and natural resource conservation, said Dr. Ashwani Hansa. “We are pleased to see the enthusiastic participation of all stakeholders in this event, which is a testament to the community's commitment to sustainable development,’ he added. The event aims to foster a sense of ownership and responsibility among the local community towards the protection and preservation of their natural resources.
