KISHTWAR: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Pankaj Kumar Sharma, Assistant Commissioner Development (Additional District Programme Coordinator-VB-G RAM-G), Manoj Kumar today chaired a meeting to assess the progress of developmental schemes in Blocks Inderwal, Mughalmaidan, Thakrie and Paddar. The meeting reviewed the implementation and progress of VB-G RAM-G, PMAY-G, District/UT Capex, CDF, APDP and other developmental schemes.
Review of VB-G RAM-G focused on assessing generation of Person-Days (PDs) against the normative allocation and the 1st Quarter release. The performance of individual Gram Panchayats was examined in detail. Taking serious note of low PD generation in certain Panchayats, the ACD directed the concerned functionaries to improve their performance.
The ACD further stressed on 100% e-KYC of skilled and semi-skilled mates, proper geo-tagging of assets and timely processing and payment of wages to GRGC holders. While reviewing PMAY-G progress, the ACD directed immediate completion of Category-A houses. He directed the concerned officers to examine the delays and initiate recovery proceedings in cases under Category-B, where beneficiaries have failed to utilise assistance as prescribed.
Reviewing the progress under District/UT Capex, CDF, APDP and other heads, the ACD stressed immediate physical and financial completion of ongoing works, with close monitoring at the field level.
Taking serious note of instances of poor performance and failure to discharge assigned duties, show-cause notices were issued to three officials —one from Block Mughalmaidan and two from Block Thakrie. A termination notice was also served upon one official of Block Paddar for unsatisfactory performance and failure to discharge assigned responsibilities.
