DODA: A landmark event was held here today in the DC Office Complex, where District Development Council (DDC) Chairman Dhananter Singh Kotwal gave away the Property Cards under the ambitious SVAMITVA Scheme. The event was organized to hand over property cards to beneficiaries, empowering them with legal ownership of their land.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Harvinder Singh accompanied by ADC Sudershan Kumar; ACR Sunil Bhutyal; ACD Manoj Kumar, ACP Musharraf Haf and other officials, participated in the event. The initiative marks a significant step twoards improving transparency and formalizing property ownership in rural areas, thus paving the way for economic empowerment and development.

Speaking at the event, DDC Chairman Dhananter Singh Kotwal lauded the government’s efforts under the SVAMITVA Scheme, which aims to provide villagers with property cards for their residential lands. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives in reducing property disputes and enabling rural households to access loans and other benefits by using property as collateral.

DC Doda, Harvinder Singh highlighted the administration’s commitment to ensuring the scheme's smooth implementation and urged beneficiaries to utilize this opportunity for their socio-economic betterment. Officials present reiterated their dedication to making the district a model of efficient governance and development. The event concluded with a pledge to extend similar benefits to every eligible household in the district.
