PADDAR: Sub-Divisional Magistrate Padder, Dr. Amit Kumar conducted a series of meetings with concerned departments and public representatives today to assess the progress of developmental work and ensure the availability of essential supplies in the aftermath of the recent snowfall.
During the meetings, it was informed that the Pathernaki point is now safe for traffic movement from Padder to Kishtwar. The concerned departments were instructed to remain alert and promptly carry out restoration work, including ensuring water and power supply and restoring road connectivity immediately and report on daily basis.
Additionally, all ongoing schemes for the current financial year must be completed as per schedule. The SDM emphasized the importance of prioritizing the needs of the residents and ensuring their well-being in the wake of the recent snowfall. Public was urged to cooperate with the authorities and report any issues or concerns promptly.
