RAMBAN: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ramban, Roshan Lal, today chaired a meeting to review and decide upon relief cases under the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF). A total of 45 cases were assessed and 41 decided during the meeting, focusing on necessary relief measures for affected individuals.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Ramban, S. Harpal Singh, District Sheep Husbandry Officer (DSHO), Tehsildar Khari, Tehsildar Banihal, Tehsildar Batote, Tehsildar Ramban, Tehsildar Pogal-Paristan, and other concerned officials.
Emphasizing the need for expedited relief distribution, the ADDC directed officials to ensure timely assistance to affected families. He also stressed a transparent and efficient verification process for assessing damages and disbursing relief funds. Discussions were held on streamlining the relief mechanism to enhance responsiveness in times of distress. The ADDC urged the officers to coordinate effectively and uphold a swift and just relief process to support those in need.
