KUPWARA: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Shrikant Suse, today inaugurated the Center of Excellence (CoE) for E-Governance at the D.C Office Complex, here, marking a significant step towards strengthening digital governance and enhancing citizen-centric service delivery in the district.
The newly inaugurated Center of Excellence has been established with the objective of promoting and facilitating the enrollment of beneficiaries under different centrally sponsored schemes and availing of digital services.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of leveraging digital tools to improve accessibility, accountability, and timeliness of public services. He highlighted that the CoE will play a crucial role in capacity building of government officials, streamlining workflows, and ensuring effective use of digital platforms for governance and public service delivery.
The inauguration reflects the district administrationâs commitment to aligning with the broader vision of Digital India and ensuring that the benefits of technology reach citizens at the grassroots level.
The establishment of the Center of Excellence for E-Governance is expected to serve as a catalyst for digital transformation and innovation within the district administration, ultimately benefiting the general public through improved and hassle-free access to government services.
