JAMMU: Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Information Technology, Transport, Youth Services and Sports, Satish Sharma, today extended his warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Shab-i-Barat.
In his message, the Minister said that Shab-i-Barat holds great religious and spiritual significance for the Muslim community as it is observed as a sacred night of prayers, forgiveness, self-reflection and seeking divine blessings. He urged the people to pray for peace, prosperity and the overall welfare of society.
Satish Sharma observed that Jammu and Kashmir has a long-standing tradition of mutual respect, communal harmony and collective celebration of festivals, which reflects the spirit of unity and coexistence among its people.
